Hello!

I’m Ben Popp, and I’m running in the Democratic primary for U.S. Representative in PA’s 6th congressional district against incumbent Chrissy Houlahan.

I am running because Washington has sold this country to the highest bidders - billionaire donors and corporations. It’s time to restore power to the people and end cronyism and oligarchy.

My campaign does not accept any corporate contributions, and is 100% people powered - period.

Join me in making a statement to Rep. Houlahan and the rest of Washington. We demand a stand against growing authoritarianism and inequality.

Take the power back!

KEY ISSUES

As the second Trump administration has pushed us to the edge of authoritarianism and openly championed the cause of billionaire oligarchs, many Democrats - including Rep. Houlahan, Sen. Schumer, and Sen. Fetterman - have stood idly by, opting to do what is politically or financially convenient. My campaign is a statement to Houlahan and the rest of Washington.

Medicare for All

Healthcare is a basic human right, and every resident of the United States must have access to quality healthcare without compromise. The United States has the highest healthcare costs in the world, with measurably worse outcomes than other comparable nations. This broken system cannot continue.

End Oligarchy

For too long, our country has catered to corporate interests and a tiny fraction of the most wealthy, abandoning the vast majority of people. This oligarchy must be abolished.

Confront the Climate Crisis

We are in the midst of a climate and ecological crisis, and life itself is under threat. Meanwhile, Trump and DOGE are dismantling decades of science-based environmental and public health protections to benefit corporate polluters.
